Hello there! My name is Meagan, and I’m glad you’ve landed here. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts with years of experience supporting birthing people and their families to navigate the emotional landscape of fertility challenges, trying to conceive, pregnancy, postpartum, and perinatal loss. I believe that the transition to parenthood, no matter the journey to get there, can bring profound love, deep heartache and complex identity challenges that deserve extra support and tenderness. You do not have to go through this alone. It would be an honor to walk alongside you during this time of significant change. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client’s needs. I blend evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based practices to support emotional regulation, meaning-making, and resilience. I strive to create a space that is nonjudgmental, affirming, and grounded in respect for each person’s unique story. I have a particular fondness for supporting folks facing complex pregnancies, pregnancy or infant loss, pregnancy after loss and termination for medical reasons (TFMR). I am committed to integrating social, racial, and economic justice in all aspects of my work. Please know, I am a white, cisgender female, doing my own work to reconcile these identities in context of our inequitable world. I humbly share that I have experience working with People of Color, first- and second-generation immigrants and LGBTQIA+ folx, but I recognize that my lived experience is distinct. I am fluent in English and have conversational skills in Spanish for clients interested in multilingual support.
