When we are suffering every day can feel like a struggle, but it doesn’t have to be this hard. You are strong and capable of change, I am here to help you. Therapy can help you: *Understand patterns that you keep seeing in your life *Learn tools to manage feelings of anxiety and depression *Improve ability to communicate in relationships *Feel more confident and emotionally grounded *Develop a greater sense of self I believe therapy works best when you have a genuine connection with your therapist and feel comfortable to be yourself in an uncomfortable space. My style is warm and nonjudgemental, I want to create a space for you to explore challenges while also gaining practical tools you can use in your daily life. I specialize in working with women in family planning, pregnancy, and the post-partum phase in life as well as with high-achieving adults navigating stressful work environments. Additionally I work with adults processing feelings of grief and loss through death or terminal diagnosis of a loved one. My approach to therapy is collaborative, warm, and practical. I use evidence-based techniques and insight-oriented work to help the people I work with develop coping skills and create meaningful lasting change. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness-based techniques, I work to combine therapeutic strategies to help you reach your goals. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy to adults in New Jersey, New York, and Virginia. I have a M.S. degree in Social Work from Columbia University and a B.A. from Villanova University majoring in Psychology and Sociology with a minor in Gender and Women’s Studies.
