Introduction

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Megan and I am a licensed associate counselor (LAC) here in Arkansas. I know that taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, and my hope is that you find this to be a place where you feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood. My goal is to create a compassionate, judgment-free environment where you can explore life’s challenges, process difficult experiences, and move toward healing at your own pace. I have a special passion for working with women who have experienced trauma, including survivors of abuse, individuals living with PTSD, and mothers navigating postpartum anxiety and depression. I understand that trauma can leave lasting emotional wounds, and I believe healing is possible when you have a safe space to process your experiences with someone who will walk alongside you. My approach to therapy is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an evidence-based approach that helps people better understand their emotions, recognize unhelpful patterns, and build healthier relationships with themselves and the people they care about. Simply put, EFT helps us make sense of our emotions so they become guides for healing rather than something we have to fear or avoid. Whether you’re seeking healing from trauma, navigating a major life transition, or simply looking for a place to feel heard, I would be honored to walk alongside you on your journey toward healing and growth.
