Often, we are born into a world that defines us before we define ourselves, which can create a sense of disconnection from who we are. It is my belief that the exploration of Self is inextricably interwoven with the unfolding of our life. Many times, we are not taught how to be in relationship with ourselves, as we would with a loved one, and therapy can offer a space to explore and get to know who we are, creating a deeper sense of connection with ourselves and offering new perspectives of our role(s) in the world and in relationship to others. I invite a slowing down and sinking deeper into the present moment to gently uncover what is most alive for you. Together, we will explore your relationship to yourself, to others and to life itself. I believe healing happens in the space between us, where we can make room for the full depth of your inner life—the ache, the beauty, the questions, and the quiet truths that ask to be felt and seen. I utilize a holistic lens, meaning I acknowledge the complexity of what it means to be human as a mind, body, soul, and spirit, using a variety of perspectives. These include Eastern and Western philosophy, earth-based wisdom, existential-humanistic practices, somatic techniques, as well as systemic and relational frameworks. I center my work collaboratively with my clients to create a safe, trusting, and supportive relationship on our journey together in therapy. It is an honor to work with individuals, partners, and other forms of relationships navigating the human journey.
