I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in NC and a Licensed Professional Counselor (LCP) in SC. I am also a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and am practicing in Charlotte, North Carolina. I work with adults providing outpatient therapy in our office as well as telehealth. I specialize in working with young adults who are struggling with anxious and depressed feelings as they go through new transitions in life. I work with those who are struggling with anxiety, self-esteem, relationship challenges, body image concerns, and trauma related issues. I enjoy working with those in the LGBT+ community as well! Counseling is based on building a unique relationship of trust. I aim to create an open, nonjudgmental space while we begin to explore the current challenges you might be facing. In my practice, I utilize a variety of approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR, Person-Centered Therapy, narrative therapy, and other evidenced-based practices. In our work together, we can also utilize mindfulness, art, and music. Taking the first steps in counseling can often feel overwhelming. I aim to meet you where you are at as you begin to work towards your individual goals in wellness and growth.
