Introduction

Get to know the person, passion, and purpose behind MTM Counseling & Consulting. Hi, I’m Megan, the Therapist behind MTM Counseling & Consulting. For more than 13 years, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside women, children, teens, young adults, and families through some of life’s most challenging, uncertain, and transformative seasons. My path to this work has been shaped not only by professional experience, but by personal experiences that deepened my understanding of what it means to feel unheard, overwhelmed, and in need of support during difficult seasons. Those experiences didn’t define my work—but they did shape the way I show up in it: with empathy, presence, and a deep belief in the importance of being truly seen and understood. In my work, I support moms carrying the invisible weight of it all, children learning how to name and understand their emotions, teens navigating identity and social pressures, college students and young adults adjusting to independence and rapid change, and individuals moving through grief, anxiety, stress, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Therapy with me is relational, collaborative, and grounded in real connection. Together, we explore patterns that may no longer be serving you, process emotional experiences that still feel heavy, and build healthier ways of coping and responding to life as it unfolds. I also believe healing doesn’t always have to feel heavy all the time. Sometimes it includes moments of relief, perspective, and even laughter. You’ll find a space where you can show up as you are—messy, unsure, hopeful, overwhelmed, or somewhere in between—and still feel welcomed. And while I may not have all the answers, I believe deeply in the power of connection, honest conversation, and helping people discover strengths they didn’t realize they already had. Outside of sessions, you’ll often find me at the beach, cheering the people I love on in all areas of life, and fueled by a very consistent appreciation for a crisp Diet Coke.
