I’m Megan Perdue, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who believes therapy can offer a steady, compassionate place to make sense of life’s hardest seasons. Before opening my private practice, I spent years working as a medical social worker in the hospital, supporting patients and families through serious illness, caregiving, grief, trauma, and profound life changes. I also worked in a memory clinic, supporting individuals and families navigating the complexities of cognitive change, caregiving, and loss. These experiences deeply shaped the therapist I am today and taught me the importance of being able to stay present with experiences that cannot simply be fixed. I now work with adults navigating grief and loss, trauma and difficult experiences, anxiety and depression, caregiving, infertility, pregnancy and infant loss, child loss, serious or chronic illness, and significant life transitions. My approach is warm, relational, attachment-focused, and trauma-informed, with attention to emotions, thoughts, relationships, and the ways our bodies respond to difficult experiences. Therapy with me is not about rushing you toward a particular outcome or asking you to “move on” from what has happened. My hope is to offer a space where you can better understand what you’re experiencing, process and integrate what you’ve been through, and find greater clarity, healing, and hope as you navigate what comes next. For clients who desire it, I also welcome the integration of Christian faith into therapy, while working with and welcoming people of all backgrounds and beliefs.
