Introduction

Teen Therapy I provide individual therapy for teens navigating anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, stress, life transitions, family dynamics, and other challenges that can make adolescence difficult. Therapy is structured to help teens better understand themselves while developing practical skills they can use in everyday life. Adult Therapy I work with adults experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions, relationship and family challenges, trauma, and periods of feeling overwhelmed or stuck. My approach combines insight with practical, actionable strategies designed to create meaningful change. Anxiety, Stress & Emotional Regulation Anxiety and chronic stress can affect relationships, decision-making, confidence, and everyday functioning. Therapy can help identify patterns, understand contributing factors, and develop more effective ways of responding to difficult thoughts, emotions, and situations. About Megan Stickelmaier, LCSW I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing therapy in Peoria, Illinois. Since opening my private practice in 2018, I have focused on helping teens and adults navigate emotional challenges and life transitions. I have over 20 years of experience working with individuals and families in the social service field. My approach considers the whole person—including emotional, behavioral, relational, and physical stressors—rather than focusing on symptoms alone. Getting Started Interested in getting started?
