Introduction

I am an experienced clinical social worker and psychotherapist with specialties in LGBTQIA+ affirming care, trauma and PTSD, depression and anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, and neurodivergence. I believe the point of life is to learn and grow through the challenges while becoming more fully yourself. Struggles with mood, loss, and big life changes can make that feel out of reach. I work to guide clients to greater creativity, joy, and fulfillment in their unique life. I offer a trauma responsive approach to therapy centering the question “What happened to you?” over the idea that there is something inherently wrong or disordered about you. As an artist, I enjoy incorporating creativity into my therapeutic approach and I especially enjoy tailoring my approach for each individual client. In our first session you can expect an affirming therapeutic presence and friendly approach to getting to know one another. We will explore what brings you to therapy at this time, what you hope to get from therapy, what has or has not been helpful in past therapy experiences, and respond to your questions about moving forward with our therapeutic relationship.
