Introduction

"Expert treatment for eating disorders, addictions, and the nuanced mess of being human. More skills, less suffering." I started my journey in clinical social work with a firm belief that we are all doing the best we can with the skills we have—but that when we know better, we do better. My practice is built on the idea that therapy shouldn’t just be an academic exercise; it should be a practical, intentional collaboration that helps you navigate your real present day life. I work with individuals and couples and supervise and train new and seasoned therapists. I am licensed in New York, Connecticut, and North Carolina. I am an expert in evidence-based approaches specifically Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Somatic experiencing (SE) . Whether I’m working with individuals or couples, my focus is on helping you manage anxiety, depression, and trauma by moving past simple "insight" and straight into actionable solutions. You can expect direct, honest communication and a lot of laughter. I believe humor is a vital signal of safety for our nervous systems, esp when things are heavy. We’ll look at your blind spots without judgment, call out the patterns that no longer serve you, and build a toolkit of skills that actually work. I’m in this with you, one step at a time, toward a life where you can love well, live fully, and finally let go of the things that hold you back.
