Introduction

Meghan Hargaden is a Licensed Professional Counselor, DVOMB Provider, Registered Yoga Teacher, Group Facilitator, and EMDR therapist. She received her education from Denver Seminary with her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and her BA from the University of Colorado Boulder in Philosophy with a minor in Creative Writing. She began her counseling career in a wilderness-based setting as a peer counselor for troubled youth in 2018. Her love for seeing people living free inspired her to pursue counseling and continues to motivate her practice today. She is a trained philosopher, published poet, avid hiker, devoted wife, and beloved child of Jesus Christ. In addition to working with individuals, Meghan has facilitated various groups such as relapse prevention groups, multi family groups, court ordered anger management groups, trauma informed safety stabilization groups for human trafficked survivors, DBT groups for teens and adults, movement classes, and the like. This experience has informed her ability to work with couples, families, and individuals with a variety of issues. In addition to her counseling practice, she has developed exceptional writing and interpersonal skills through her education and careers. This skill set, combined with her passion for humanity, education, and wellness, has led her to a creative and committed way of being that she hopes will inspire others to live out all that they were created to be.
