Meghan is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in Maryland and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in Massachusetts. Since receiving her Master's degree in 2008, she has gained diverse experience in home-based, school, and clinical settings. She specializes in working with families, couples, and individuals, addressing areas such as life transitions, grief, divorce, identity and career development, anxiety, depression, and ADHD. Meghan holds a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health & Counseling Psychology from Lesley University. Her experience includes working at the New England Center for Children and serving as a school counselor for Montgomery County Public Schools. Recently, she trained with the Internal Family Systems Institute in the Intimacy From The Inside Out program, led by Toni Herbine-Blank. Her professional background includes both public and private settings such as the National Counseling Group in Manassas, VA, and the Peter Bachman Therapy Group in Kensington, MD. After living in the Washington, DC area for 15 years, Meghan now resides in Newburyport, MA, providing telehealth therapy to clients in the DMV area. Born in upstate New York, Meghan has also lived abroad in Muret and Rouen, France, as well as in various cities, including Boston, MA, and Washington, DC. Beyond her clinical work, Meghan is an experienced educator, community volunteer, and parent. In her practice, Meghan focuses on helping clients reflect on their communication styles and responses to stress. She collaborates with her clients to help them discover their innate strengths and wisdom, gently guiding them to re-evaluate aspects of their lives that may no longer be beneficial.
