I work well with college students and young adults who are experiencing anxiety, challenging family or relationship dynamics, or are having struggles with life transitions. I hope to welcome clients with a warm and accepting presence and offer a free 15 minute phone call where we can chat and see if we’d be a good fit in therapy. My path to becoming a counselor began in my early 20s when I participated in therapy for the first time. My counselor helped me better understand my experiences, respected my beliefs, and compassionately guided me through the healing process. It was hard work being a client, but I gained a grounded sense of peace and joy as I grew to be more resilient. My experience in therapy inspired me to pursue a career as a therapist myself, and I’m honored to partner with my clients as they pursue their own version of growth and healing. I am an Austin native and attended The University of Texas (hook em!) before completing my masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Sam Houston State University. As a Licensed Professional Counselor - Associate (LPC-A), I am supervised by Dr. Evelyn Fitzgerald, LPC-S, RPT-S. I utilize person centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and existential therapy in my work with clients. I can also offer sandtray therapy, walk and talk therapy, and therapy from a Christian perspective when requested by the client.
