Hi there! When it comes to counseling my desire is to lend a hand and to be an ear that listens and empathizes as I seek to assist you toward healing and recovery. I view all people holistically by focusing on each individual’s mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well being. The counseling methods I seek to integrate are from theories such as Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gottman Couples Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). I am also willing and happy to integrate faith into the counseling process if the client desires. My current and past professional experience influence my desire to work with various populations. I've spent close to a decade working with children in multiple capacities, and my work with teens, adults and married peoples alike span from teaching to coaching. My areas of interest include, but are not limited to: trauma, grief, anxiety, cross-cultural therapy, self-harm, premarital and marital counseling, emotional dysregulation, self-esteem, personal growth and life transitions. My desire for all of my clients is to feel welcomed, safe, seen and heard as they are working toward their goals. In my free time, I enjoys taking walks in nature, reading a good book, playing board games and running.
