Introduction

Hello! I am Myndi and I received my Master's of Social work degree from the University of Utah in 2005. I have practiced psychotherapy since in mental health clinic settings, in medical clinics, in schools, through hospice, and in private practice. Because I struggled with my mental health growing up in the 80s, my education and practicums focused on children's mental health and psychotherapy. I have special training and experience with adoption and extensive training and experience working with ADHD, post trauma, anxiety and adjustment disorders, and depression. Ten years ago I opened my private practice to adults which has brought me great meaning and joy. I have lived on the Eastern Oregon frontier for ten years, grew up in the Willamette Valley among dahlia farms, and have also lived and practiced in Utah and Michigan. I spend my free time hanging with my three neurodiverse teenagers, two labradoodles, tending my flowers, learning to watercolor and write "good" poetry, sitting on a variety of local nonprofit boards (Harney County Library!) and practicing Pilates.
