I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor with experience supporting children, college students, LGBTQIA+ individuals, and culturally diverse populations through a trauma‑informed, person‑centered, and psychoeducational approach. I hold a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from North Carolina Central University and a bachelor’s degree in English from Wesleyan College in Macon, GA. My work is grounded in creating affirming, supportive spaces where clients can explore their identities, build coping skills, and move toward healing. I draw from a blend of therapeutic approaches, including CBT, solution‑focused, and psychodynamic techniques, tailoring interventions to each person’s unique needs and goals. I have worked with a range of common mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma‑ and stress‑related disorders, ADHD, adjustment issues, grief and loss, and relationship or identity challenges. I am especially passionate about working with young people navigating transitions, identity development, and emotional challenges, and I strive to meet each client with empathy, curiosity, and a commitment to culturally responsive care.
