I believe meaningful change begins with deeper understanding — of ourselves, our relationships, and the patterns that keep us stuck. But insight alone isn't always enough. Lasting change also requires learning to recognize what's happening within us, slow down our automatic responses, and create enough space to choose something different. My work brings together insight, emotional awareness, and nervous system regulation to help build the capacity for new ways of responding, relating, and connecting. I'm Melissa Frazier, a Licensed Professional Counselor serving individuals and couples throughout Oregon. My approach is warm, collaborative, and direct. I help clients look beyond the immediate problem to understand what keeps them stuck, where those patterns began, and how to begin responding differently. Couples Therapy & Intensives Relationships can be both deeply meaningful and incredibly challenging. Whether you're caught in recurring conflict, experiencing emotional distance, or navigating the aftermath of an affair or betrayal, therapy can help you better understand what's happening between you and find a path forward. I offer both traditional couples counseling and couples therapy intensives — extended, structured sessions designed for couples who want dedicated time to understand their relationship patterns, work through difficult conversations, and practice new ways of connecting and repairing. Individual Counseling My individual work is relationally focused and trauma-informed. Together, we explore how past experiences, attachment patterns, and protective responses influence your emotional well-being, relationships, and sense of self. The goal isn't simply to manage symptoms, but to develop greater self-understanding, flexibility, and the capacity for meaningful change. Interested in a couples intensive or another service?
