Hi, I’m Lou. With over 20 years of experience as a clinical therapist—and my own personal journey of marital transformation—I understand how overwhelming relationship struggles can feel. When your marriage is in crisis, it is an emergency, and I am here to provide real help. I combine evidence-based strategies with genuine care to guide couples toward calmer communication, stronger bonds, and renewed hope. My goal is to make change feel possible, even when everything seems hopeless. I am extensively trained in the Gottman Method, widely regarded as the gold standard in marriage therapy. Our Marriage Intensive is designed as part retreat, part workshop, and part therapy. The program includes three six-hour therapy sessions, comfortable accommodations, breakfast fixings in your accommodation, lunch, and snacks. Dinner is left open for you to enjoy on your own. Intensives are hosted in a charming seaside town—an ideal setting to focus on your relationship while also finding rest and renewal by the beach. There is an alternative mountain retreat option available in Bryson City, North Carolina for those who prefer that setting.
