Starting therapy is an act of self-compassion, and self-compassion is at the heart of how I practice. I provide telehealth therapy for adults across Washington State, working with individuals and couples on anxiety, depression, self-esteem, complex trauma, transgender care, neurodivergence, and related concerns. My approach is client-centered and strengths-based: multicultural, inclusive, gender-affirming, neurodivergent-affirming, and solution-focused. You can expect a safe, nonjudgmental, and respectful space where we move at your pace and set goals together. Telehealth means you can meet from wherever you're most comfortable. I grew up in Henderson, Nevada, and earned my Bachelor's degree in Human Services Counseling and my Master of Social Work at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where I worked throughout the mental and behavioral health community to reduce stigma and help people build self-compassion. In 2015, I moved to Washington State to continue that work, and went on to earn my Doctor of Social Work (DSW) from Walden University, with doctoral research focused on self-care through self-compassion theory. In more than 20 years as a social worker, I've served people at nearly every stage of life, from early childhood through older adulthood, across behavioral health and healthcare settings. I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and a certified Heart-Centered Hypnotherapist. More than anything, I want to help you learn how to help yourself. If that resonates, I'd be glad to meet you.
