Introduction

Are you ready to create meaningful change in your life? I believe in the powerful synergy of dreams for the future, creativity, and inner wisdom to help you build the life you truly desire. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Board-Certified Art Therapist, I offer a unique and compassionate approach to healing and self-discovery. Art therapy doesn't require you to be an artist; it simply invites you to explore new pathways to understanding yourself and achieving your goals. It's a powerful way to weave together your thoughts, feelings, and aspirations, creating a new vision for who you want to be. I understand that art isn't for everyone, and that's perfectly okay. I'm just as comfortable and skilled in traditional talk therapy approaches, ensuring you always feel safe and that our work together is effective. My priority is always to meet you exactly where you are, building a strong, trusting relationship. We'll start by addressing immediate concerns, then gently explore underlying issues to support your lasting well-being. With 15 years of experience working with youth and adults in diverse settings, I've learned that the most effective therapy involves walking alongside you on your journey. I work with children (6+), adolescents, and adults providing individual and family therapy. I draw upon a robust foundation of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) techniques, and Strengths-Based approaches. When integrated with art therapy, these methods are incredibly effective in addressing trauma, grief, stress, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and even improving relationships and communication skills for individuals and families. Beyond mental health diagnoses, both art and talk therapy can be profoundly beneficial for anyone navigating everyday stress, seeking deeper self-reflection, or simply trying to clarify their path forward. Art can be a powerful mirror, offering a deeper look into your inner world when you're ready to explore. Please note: I do not accept insurance at this time.
