Introduction

Hi, I'm Melissa. I don't believe there is an "ideal" patient. I believe the people who are meant to find me usually do. If you've found your way here, you may simply be looking for someone who will listen without rushing, explain without overwhelming, and help you feel comfortable enough to be yourself. As a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and retired U.S. Navy Nurse with more than two decades of clinical experience, I provide private-pay telehealth psychiatric care for adolescents (12+) and adults throughout North Carolina. Every appointment begins with your story—not just your symptoms. Together, we'll explore the treatment options that best fit your goals, whether that includes medication, non-medication strategies, or an integrative approach when clinically appropriate. Because EVERVERA is a private-pay practice, our time together is guided by your needs rather than insurance requirements. HSA/FSA cards are accepted, and superbills are available upon request for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Whether we work together or not, I sincerely hope you find someone who makes you feel heard, respected, and hopeful about what's possible.
