Introduction

I came into clinical social work as a second career after spending many years in high-pressure professional environments, an experience that deeply informs the way I understand stress, burnout, identity, and the pressure to keep functioning even when something isn’t working. My clinical background includes supporting individuals navigating grief and loss, trauma, major life transitions, and people impacted by complex systems. I’m especially drawn to working with people who are accustomed to being capable, the professionals, caregivers, problem-solvers, and people others depend on, who may find themselves struggling when their usual ways of coping are no longer enough. This can show up as anxiety, burnout, grief, moral distress, relationship difficulties, or feeling disconnected from the life you worked hard to build. My approach is collaborative, curious, and grounded in the belief that therapy should help you better understand yourself. Together, we can explore the experiences and patterns that brought you here, identify what is and isn’t serving you anymore, and develop ways of moving forward that feel more sustainable and aligned with who you want to be.
