Introduction

I’m Mellisa Moss, and I’m a relational psychodynamic therapist who believes in real conversations, gentle honesty, and helping you reconnect with your sense of self. In my work, I focus on how your past experiences shape the way you see yourself and connect with others today. Relational psychodynamic therapy isn’t just about understanding your story; it’s about noticing the patterns that show up in your relationships, including the one we build together in therapy. The relationship we form becomes part of the healing process, and offering insight, repair, and a new experience of being seen, heard, and understood. I work with teens, young adults, and professionals, especially Black women and girls, who are ready to break free from self-doubt, old narratives, and intergenerational patterns that no longer serve them. My goal is to help you see yourself clearly, trust your inner voice, and take up space with confidence.
