Caring for ourselves can be difficult when so many of us take on multiple roles and responsibilities, all while being chronically burnt out. When we work on ourselves, we have the capacity to improve our lives as well as the lives of our loved ones and our communities. I strive to support people on their healing journeys, working with clients to regulate their nervous systems, shift limiting belief systems, process trauma, silence inner critics, improve communication, and learn how to actively seek joy and peace. In accepting what we cannot control, embracing healthy habits, and learning to love ourselves, we heal ourselves. Applying a holistic perspective that acknowledges the mind-body connection, I utilize multiple modalities, including DBT, somatic healing, EMDR, and EFT. I am also certified in integrative nutrition for mental health and I have a Ph.D. in Gender Studies that supports an advanced awareness of human sexuality, gendered social diseases, and social systems.
