Meridith Wirtz is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) at Leek Therapy with a particular focus on supporting school-aged youth, neurodivergent young people, and their families. She specialises in ADHD, learning challenges, and anxiety, helping students and families address challenges, foster positive social interactions, and build independence. Meridith takes a strengths-based, client-centered approach combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing. She is currently pursuing EMDR training and has completed a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program and her 200-hour yoga teacher certification bringing a holistic, mind-body awareness to her clinical work. As Meridith puts it, "The right therapist is the one that feels most comfortable to you and is trained in the area where you are seeking support. With the right therapist you feel mutual respect, a joint commitment to your wellbeing, and a space where you feel comfortable and willing to be vulnerable." Meridith is committed to being that space. She offers in-person sessions in West Yarmouth and online therapy throughout Massachusetts, with flexible appointment options.
