Introduction

Metanoia knows that we are not only wounded within in the context of our relationships with others - we also heal within relationship. We search for meaning, and are restless until we find our point of reorientation that transforms everything. Our clinicians know that we are sojourners alongside you, continually re-orienting and turning-toward the Good. We would be honored to work with you. ABOUT: Megan Bonynge, LMFT I know what it's like to feel broken; it's one of the driving forces that drew me to become a therapist, wanting to accompany people through that darkness in their lives. Most people are attracted to my practice because of my niche in Apostolic Christianity, specifically Orthodox Christianity and Roman Catholicism, but I work with clients of all backgrounds. I do my best work with insightful, motivated folks working through anxiety, existential concerns, eating disorders, OCD, or generally feeling like they're lost and in need of finding their way again. I help folks relinquish the need for control, to pursue Life instead. I work primarily from existential and humanistic lenses; this means that over time, we'll drill down deep into themes of life & death, meaning, freedom & responsibility, and love & belonging. If you've read the book "Man's Search for Meaning" by Viktor Frankl, you'll have a much closer idea of my views on psychotherapy. I'm very hands-on; I take an active role, but I don't do the work for you. I'm comfortable with silence, and I'll give you space when you need to process. I'm honest, straightforward, and compassionate, and you won't have to guess what I'm thinking - I'm not one of those therapists who keeps a straight face! I'll ask you the tough questions so that you get to the place of finding your own answers. ABOUT: Benjamin Tolleson, LPC-A I specialize in trauma & PTSD, work a lot with relationship & career/work issues, anxiety, depression, & grief. I primarily use trauma informed & focused CBT, I incorporate other evidence-based approaches, including creative modalities (hobbies, art, music, play, etc.) as is relevant to each individual client and their particular situations. I know counseling can be an intimating prospect, but it also can be a very rewarding experience. I would love to collaborate, with you as an expert on yourself and your life, and myself with my mental health expertise, help you reach your wellness goals. ABOUT: Stojanche (Seraphim) Andov, APCC (Coming soon!) ABOUT THERAPY Therapy is a relationship - we build trust over time through shared experiences. The first couple of sessions, you get to know each other, why you've decided to come talk, and how you'd like for things to be different a few months from now. Most people seek out counseling when they've noticed that something is no longer bringing them Life, or that they have lost their Way or their why, and they need to find their way back Home. There's a lot of suffering in the world, and no one in this life can take away the pain. But the hope is that we can be with you in it, and accompany you through your process.
