I believe that healing happens in safe, genuine connection. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and grounded in the belief that you are the expert of your own experience. I’m here to walk alongside you—not to fix, judge, or rush your process, but to help you understand yourself more deeply and begin moving toward who you want to become. I currently work in a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient setting, supporting women and men-identifying clients navigating family conflict, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, psychotic-spectrum concerns, anxiety, depression, identity questions, and trauma. In this work, I blend Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Person-Centered Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Family Systems Therapy, DBT-informed skills, Expressive Arts Therapy, and Sand Tray to create space for emotional expression, grounding, and meaningful change. Before working in higher levels of care, I spent several years in private practice supporting children, teens, adults, and families. Creativity remains a core part of how I hold space—whether through art-making, writing, movement, play-based approaches, or reflective storytelling. I believe creativity can open doors that language alone cannot, helping us express, release, and rebuild in ways that feel authentic and whole. My clinical journey has included residential treatment with adolescents, supporting young adults transitioning toward independence, working in an acute behavioral hospital, and providing therapy in a college counseling center with students navigating trauma, identity development, relationships, and major life transitions. These experiences have taught me that there is no single path to healing—and no one is meant to do it alone. I hold a B.A. in Psychology from Spelman College and an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a specialization in Play Therapy and Expressive Arts from Lipscomb University. Originally from Memphis, I am a vegan foodie, a painter and writer at heart, a tennis lover, and someone who believes laughter is one of the purest medicines we have. In our work together, you can expect presence, curiosity, grace, and room to be fully yourself. You deserve a space where your story is honored and your growth is genuinely supported. I would be honored to hold that space with you.
