I began my career working with children ages 4–13 in a residential child care setting, where I developed a strong foundation in understanding early emotional development and the impact of environment on overall well-being. Since then, I’ve expanded my experience across a range of settings, including a healthcare clinic, colleges, and a high school, working with individuals across the lifespan facing a wide variety of challenges. My approach is rooted in psychoanalytic theory, with a focus on trauma, and has evolved into a more flexible psychodynamic style to meet the needs of a broader range of clients. I work collaboratively with clients to explore how past and present experiences shape current thoughts, emotions, and relationships—often in ways that may not be immediately visible or fully understood. Central to my work is creating a space where you feel heard and understood; I prioritize empathetic listening and validating your experiences and emotions as an essential foundation for meaningful therapeutic work. Through our work together, my goal is to help you develop greater awareness of emotional patterns, uncover underlying dynamics, and create space to process unresolved experiences. This deeper understanding can lead to meaningful, lasting change and a stronger, more cohesive sense of self.
