He utilizes a compassionate and client-centered approach to help his clients create their personalized understanding of wellness, while helping them to feel heard and understood. Michael is a licensed psychotherapist with extensive experience in facilitating individual, group, couple’s, and family therapy. He has worked in a variety of therapeutic environments for over a decade and received both his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University. He has specialized knowledge and training in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). He is skilled in treating a variety of issues and has extensive training in treating mental health disorders, substance abuse, sexual behaviors, early adulthood struggles, and family dynamics. Michael is currently taking on new clients and conducts an introductory assessment session to better understand you and what you are looking to accomplish.
