Introduction

We are Michael Higginbotham and Christy Ivory of Helping Hand Therapy LLC. We have two locations: Central Point and Ashland, Oregon. Michael's office is in Central Point and Christy is located in Ashland. We know that life can throw some big challenges our way. Maybe you're feeling lost, dealing with tough emotions, or just trying to figure out your place in the world. It's easy to feel alone when things get hard, but you don't have to go through it by yourself. I'm here to help you find your way forward. How I Can Help Our approach to therapy is about exploring the big questions in life and finding what truly matters to you. We believe in helping you understand your own unique path and how you can take charge of your journey. We are also Trauma Specialists. This means We have special training to help people who have experienced difficult or upsetting events. Our therapy styles includes using mindfulness (which helps you stay in the present moment) and somatic therapies (which focus on how your body experiences emotions and stress) as well as Cognitive behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapies. We look at you as a whole person – your mind, body, and spirit – to help you heal and grow. We are here to offer you a supportive and understanding space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings without judgment. Christy and I work together with you to help you: Understand yourself better: We'll explore what's important to you, what you believe, and what you hope for in life. Find meaning: We'll work on discovering what gives your life purpose and direction. Handle life's challenges: We'll provide tools and strategies to help you navigate difficult situations and build a stronger you. We offer both in-person and convenient online therapy options because we know life can be busy. Choosing to start therapy is a commitment to yourself and your well-being. We are ready to support you on your healing journey. We look forward to working with you! For insurance information go to: https://www.helpinghandtherapy.net/insurance/
