With 19 years of experience in both private practice and community-based settings, I've worked with adults (ages 18-64) of various backgrounds to overcome depression, anxiety, and trauma. I have extensive experience in supporting the LGBTQIA+ community and other marginalized populations. I specialize in providing individual therapy for clients to navigate difficult life transitions. I conceptualize therapy from a psychodynamic perspective, but I often use other therapeutic tools to meet the unique needs of each client. You and I can use therapy to identify underlying assumptions, understand automatic reactions that are counterproductive, consider alternative responses, and access resources to accomplish your therapeutic goals. I offer in-person individual therapy sessions Monday through Thursday (8 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and on Friday mornings in Midtown Sacramento. Sessions typically occur once per week (same day and time), if possible. The frequency and duration of our work together will be based on progress toward your therapeutic goals.
