Introduction

As a dedicated children’s counselor, I provide a safe, nurturing space where children can express their thoughts, navigate challenges, and build emotional resilience. My services focus on: Emotional Support, Behavioral Guidance, Trauma-Informed Care, and Family Collaboration. Every child is unique. I use evidence-based techniques, play therapy, and age-appropriate communication to meet each child where they are and help them thrive. I have been practicing as an outpatient mental health therapist for the last three and half years in Princeton, WV. I received my Bachelors in Psychology. I graduated from Marshall University with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and an advanced graduate certificate in violence, loss, and trauma counseling. I am a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and Certified Youth Mental Health Specialist (CYMHS). I am currently working towards credentials as a Registered Play Therapist. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of West Virginia. I have received specialized training in trauma treatment, post-traumatic stress disorder, anxiety, depression, grief, child and adolescent development, and changes in life. I provide therapy services for adults, children, and adolescents. I am trained in a variety of theories but believe the most important piece is the therapeutic relationship, providing unconditional positive regard, empathy, and authenticity. I strive to be the present listening ear you need while providing you tools for your toolbox.
