Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when your child is struggling and you’re not sure what to do next. I work with children and families who are navigating anxiety, emotional regulation challenges, school stress, social difficulties, and big life transitions. My background is in school counseling and pediatric outpatient therapy, and I specialize in working with elementary-aged children. My approach is developmentally grounded and play-based, while also incorporating practical tools from cognitive behavioral therapy to help kids build real skills. I also work closely with parents, offering guidance and support so you feel confident helping your child at home. In sessions, I focus on helping children feel safe, understood, and capable. We work on building emotional awareness, coping strategies, flexibility, and confidence. With parents, we collaborate on strategies that reduce anxiety accommodation, strengthen attachment, and create calmer daily routines. My goal is simple: to help your child feel more regulated, more confident, and more connected, and to help you feel less alone in the process.
