In 2001 I founded PAC with a good friend, Jonathan, and we direct the practice together. I’ve been a therapist since 1999, and I’m fortunate to have a job I love. Meeting people, hearing their stories, and being a small part of their lives has been a great honor. It never gets old. I work with individual adults and couples, often around anxiety, depression, and trauma. In recent years, I have primarily used IFS (Internal Family Systems), and my work is equally informed by 30 years of Buddhist practice and study. Both point to a deep well-being and calm, already within us, that we can learn to access directly. I also draw on psychodynamic theory, the Gottman Method, and EMDR. I see many Buddhists, meditators, and people from other contemplative traditions.
