Hey, I’m Mike. If you’re here, something in you probably already knows that managing is no longer enough. You hold it together. At work, at home, in your relationships, in the moments when no one sees how much effort it actually takes. Maybe you’re the one people rely on. Maybe you’re the one who keeps functioning, keeps showing up, keeps being “fine,” even when something underneath feels tired, lonely, anxious, or hard to name. And maybe that’s the part that brought you here. The way you’ve learned to hold it all together was never the problem. It likely helped you survive, adapt, achieve, or stay connected when you had to. But at some point, what once protected you can start to feel like the only way you know how to exist. That’s where therapy can go deeper. You may not be looking for another worksheet, another breathing skill, or another surface-level strategy. You may already know how to cope. You’re tired of only coping. I work with adults across Wisconsin who are thoughtful, driven, sensitive, self-aware, and often carrying more than most people realize. Many of my clients come to therapy because anxiety, shame, relationship patterns, old wounds, or a quiet sense of disconnection have started asking for attention. I built Via Therapy for people who sense that the answers they’re looking for are not on the surface. My work is relational, depth-oriented, trauma-informed, and grounded in attachment. I bring over fifteen years of experience helping people move through the harder inner landscapes, especially the parts of ourselves we learned to hide, manage, or outgrow before we ever had the chance to understand them. In therapy with me, you do not have to perform. You do not have to have the right words. You do not have to make your pain sound neat or explainable. We slow down. We listen closely. We pay attention to what keeps repeating, what still hurts, what your body carries, and what you have had to become in order to get through. I also use Brainspotting, a body-based therapy approach that helps access what talk therapy alone does not always reach. For many people, this allows deeper emotional material to move, soften, and reorganize in ways that feel less forced and more embodied. I often hear from clients that therapy this time around feels different. When I hear a client respond with the word "exactly," that's when I know we're on the right track. Therapy can become a place to exhale, feel understood, and slowly come back to yourself. When you’re ready, I’d be glad to meet you there. Questions about services, fees, or availability?
