Introduction

My name is Michaela Vawter, I am currently an MA Candidate working at Mirador Counseling. I am in my last year at Regis University, studying for my MA in Mental Health Counseling. As I began my counseling career, I want to create a safe space for my clients to explore who they are and the problems life has thrown at them. Growing up in the California Bay Area showed me the power of acceptance and the freedom to find out who I am. I want to provide this feeling to my clients, help them find their peace in the chaos of reality.
