As a native Angeleno with Cuban roots, I strive to create a warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel seen and supported. I believe we are wired for connection, and that many of life's struggles emerge when we feel disconnected from ourselves, the people we love, or the parts of our story that need understanding and care. My work is grounded in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment theory, and psychodynamic principles, helping clients make sense of their emotions, relationship patterns, and deeper needs. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where meaningful change can occur, not through fixing who you are, but through developing a deeper relationship with yourself and the people who matter most. I work with couples who want to strengthen their bond, navigate conflict more effectively, rebuild trust, or create greater emotional intimacy. I also work with individuals experiencing OCD, anxiety, depression, and relationship concerns. Together, we explore the patterns that keep you feeling stuck while building greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and new experiences of safety and connection. For individuals struggling with OCD and anxiety, I integrate evidence-based approaches such as Exposure and Response Prevention alongside attachment-focused and insight-oriented work to help clients develop a different relationship with fear, uncertainty, and self-doubt. I am currently an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist #149655 under the direct supervision of Audrey E. Boggs, Psy.D. CA Licensed Psychologist (PSY22027) at Embracing You Therapy in Woodland Hills. I see both clients in person and via tele-health.
