Introduction

Michelle Bolton, LPC-S, opened Affinity Counseling in 2021 after working for several years in Florence, AL at Kelly Counseling and Associates. Hi! I have been assisting adults and adolescents reach their therapeutic goals for 20 years in various settings, including acute inpatient, community mental health, and private practice. I am very straightforward and direct, challenging yet affirming, and I am deeply interested in each individual’s unique strengths and hurdles. I am proud to offer counseling in the heart of Franklin County where people are able to share and explore issues in a nonjudgmental and accepting environment. My counseling techniques are client-centered and drawn from dialectical-behavioral therapy, internal family systems therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and neuroaffirmative and neurobiologically-informed approaches. I look forward to working with you to help you meet your goals!
