I believe therapy is most transformative when you feel safe and empowered enough in our therapeutic relationship to be vulnerable. I incorporate Internal Family Systems and Emotion Focused Therapy with attachment-based and feminist frameworks. This means that I believe people are innately built for connection with others and I hope to invite you with empathy, honesty, and compassion as we connect you with your authentic self and support systems.I also bring in mindfulness techniques and believe that attuning to your mind-body connection is integral to healing and meeting yourself through all your phases. In session, you can expect me to gently challenge, laugh, and curse with you, allowing us to show up as humans first. I support people who are experiencing depression, anxiety, relational issues, and identity struggles. I am invested in supporting clients with navigating their multifaceted and intersectional identities, including neurodivergence, sexuality, race, and relationship structures. I welcome AAPI, Black and Indigenous folks, and immigrants who face intergenerational cultural barriers. When we experience trauma, we often protect ourselves in remarkable ways that help us survive deep pain and stress, but these methods may no longer be serving us well. These protective functions, narratives, and behaviors may show up in your relationships—including the one with yourself—and there is also hope and opportunity for pleasure, curiosity, and healing. Together we can work towards self-compassion, resilience, and change that feels right for you.
