Introduction

Hi, I'm Mickey! I'm a licensed clinical social worker with specialized training working with children, adolescents, young adults, and families. I work with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, identity exploration, ADHD, emotional/behavioral issues, and parenting challenges. I utilize aspects of CBT, DBT, Mindfulness, and ACT to support clients build skills and develop strategies to better manage their challenges. I also incorporate behavioral and attachment-based techniques to improve parent-child relationships and empower a sense of self-efficacy regarding parenting stressors. I value working collaboratively to create goals and understand what changes you’d like to see in your life. I also use an intersectional approach to address the interaction of your various identities, including experiences related to race, gender, sexuality, ethnicity, religion, and culture.
