Introduction

I am dedicated to working with children, adolescents, and adults who are struggling with anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, depression, life transitions, emotion regulation, and interpersonal relationships. I've spent a portion of my career working in Intensive hospitalization settings, where I received specialized training alongside leading experts in the OCD, Depression, and PTSD fields. I have also worked supporting children and families transitioning from the CA juvenile detention system as well as supporting home-bound individuals to gradually re-engage in activities of daily living and rebuild their inner trust and awareness of their personal goals. While my approach is person-centered in nature, I draw strength from evidence-based treatment practices. Although knowledge and experience are important, I believe one of the key aspects of successful work in therapy comes from the strength of the client-therapist relationship. I strive to create an atmosphere of respect and empowerment for individuals of all statuses, affiliations, and backgrounds. I believe that therapeutic success begins with creating a safe, trusting, and collaborative space. I may help a navigator but you’re the driver in your life. MMC is founded on the value of providing an environment that feels collaborative, safe, and free of judgment. I am also a Minnesota Board-approved clinical supervisor and also provide mental health performance consultation services.
