Wherever you are in life, I’m here to create an intentional space to explore your struggles, feelings, aspirations, and the parts of yourself that long to be recognized and nurtured. I came to this work as a person of colour and career changer, shaped by earlier chapters as a journalist and teacher — roles that taught me that while every story is unique, we all share a longing for self-understanding, insight into the human experience, and meaningful connection. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from New York University, a Master’s in Journalism from Tsinghua University, and a Bachelor’s degree from McGill University, and I am an Internal Family System (IFS) trained therapist. As a licensed social worker practicing under supervision at The Therapy Collective, I specialize in supporting children, parents, adults, and older adults through life transitions, interpersonal conflicts, stress, anxiety, loneliness, grief, and loss. My style is relational, strength-based, culturally attuned, and trauma-informed, drawing from psychodynamic theories, existential psychotherapy, motivational interviewing, and IFS. Whether you are navigating a crisis or seeking a safe space to reflect, experiment, or grow, we will work together to identify your goals and tailor our work with care, flexibility, and creativity. It would be my privilege to walk alongside you on this journey.
