Hi, I’m Miriam Arthur. I work with women who are going through some of the most tender and overwhelming seasons of life—trying to conceive, navigating pregnancy or postpartum emotions, parenting young children, co-parenting, or coping with infant loss. Many of the women I support come in feeling stretched thin, emotionally exhausted, or unsure of who they are in the middle of everything they’re carrying. You might be dealing with anxiety or mood changes during pregnancy or after birth, grieving a loss that others don’t fully understand, or trying to show up for your child while feeling completely depleted yourself. I bring years of experience working with women, children, and families in a wide range of settings—from hospitals and neonatal units to schools and community programs. I’m a licensed clinical social worker and an Infant Mental Health specialist, endorsed by the New York State Association for Infant Mental Health. More importantly, I show up with care, curiosity, and respect for your story. My work is centered on creating a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and make sense of what you’re going through—without judgment or pressure to “fix” anything right away. We’ll focus on helping you feel more grounded, supported, and connected to yourself during a time that may feel uncertain or heavy. If you’re looking for a therapist who understands the emotional complexity of fertility, pregnancy, early parenthood, and loss, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. When you’re ready, I invite you to reach out and see if working together feels like the right fit.
