Introduction

I’m a clinical intern pursuing licensure in Marriage and Family Therapy. I hold dual degrees in Human Development and Family Studies and in Early Childhood Education, which inform my care for children, teenagers, families, couples, and individuals across the lifespan. I approach therapy with warmth, compassionate curiosity, and deep respect for each person’s story, culture, and lived experience. I am especially drawn to working with people who are untangling themselves from oppressive systems and relationships, including high-control religious environments and authoritarian family structures that have eroded their sense of self, safety, belonging, and agency. I understand that healing from these experiences is not only about deconstructing beliefs but also about reconnecting with the body, building self-trust, grieving what was lost, and reclaiming parts of yourself that may have been silenced, shamed, or hidden to survive. My work helps clients identify and peel away layers of conditioning, develop internalized safety, reconnect with their own wisdom, and move toward more authentic, connected, and whole lives. I also enjoy working with couples and families as they navigate conflict, disconnection, life transitions, parenting challenges, and the effects of trauma or stress on their relationships. I provide a safe, collaborative space where each person can feel heard, slow down reactive patterns, strengthen communication, rebuild trust and connection, and move toward more secure, satisfying relationships. I’m trained to look at issues from a systems perspective, seeking to understand all of the relationships, cultural dynamics, organizations and other factors that impact you and the way you move through the world. I am fascinated by neuroscience and use a mix of neuro-narrative, IFS, EFT and other techniques to help you process your experience and take ownership of your story - your WHOLE story. If you’re ready to do the work, I’d be honored to support you.
