Introduction

Hello, my name is Missy Lane. I am a master-level clinician and counseling intern. I am an integrative therapist who believes in the transformative power of combining diverse therapeutic approaches to support holistic healing and personal growth. I passionately reject the idea of a "one-size-fits-all" model, choosing instead to blend proven, evidence-based techniques with humanistic depth, tailoring every session to the client's current phase. I view therapy as a collaborative process in which clients actively participate in their healing, growth, and self-discovery, and my mission is to facilitate that journey. As an integrative therapist, I weave together elements of Person-Centered Therapy ("What"), Existential Therapy ("Why"), and CBT (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy) ("How") to create personalized treatment plans that resonate with each client's unique experiences and needs. I see change as a layered, dynamic process that unfolds through awareness, choice, and connection—often sparked by the courage to explore one’s inner world. I understand that true transformation happens not only by addressing symptoms but by fostering a deeper connection to oneself and core values. By creating a safe, nurturing environment, I encourage clients to confront challenges directly, leading to breakthroughs that enhance self-awareness and emotional resilience. I regularly participate in workshops and training to sharpen my skills and meet my clients' changing needs. My dedication to personal and professional growth reflects my belief that change is not just possible but a journey worth pursuing.
