Misty Martin obtained a Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology from California Baptist University in Riverside, California. She is a Licensed Independent Addiction Counselor, Certified Trauma Practitioner, and a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor who approaches individuals with kindness and respect. Misty specializes in adults, adolescents, and children who struggle with a variety of issues including, PTSD, trauma, addictions/substance abuse, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship issues. She utilizes evidence-based approaches such as CBT, Narrative, Solution-focused, Motivational Interviewing, and EMDR therapies. Misty helps clients to learn coping skills to find relief from stressors. She challenges negative thoughts, and teaches effective coping strategies to promote healthier thinking. Individuals will find emotional relief from traumatic or stressful life experiences and move towards living a more peaceful and healthier lifestyle.
