Introduction

I’m Mitch Cartwright, LPC. I offer virtual psychotherapy for adults and adult relationships located in Missouri. You may be capable and still tired of carrying everything alone. I work with anxiety, grief, burnout, life transitions, recurring relational patterns, LGBTQ+ identity, creative blocks, and questions of meaning. My approach is relational, collaborative, trauma-informed, and rooted in Narrative Therapy. We make room for your story, notice what limits your choices, and explore possibilities for greater clarity, connection, and a life that feels more your own. I welcome people from many backgrounds, with a growing focus on healthcare and helping professionals—including therapists, medical professionals, healers, and educators—and others used to being the person everyone depends on. Begin with a free 15-minute consultation. Send a sentence or two about what brings you here; I will reply about availability, fit, and next steps. Detailed or sensitive history can wait for intake. Heart Space Therapy is a private-pay practice and is out of network with insurance. New-client fees are $165 for standard individual sessions, $225 for 90-minute individual sessions, and $235 for 90-minute relational sessions. Superbills are available for possible reimbursement, depending on your plan. Coaching is a separate, non-clinical service.
