Introduction

We all have moments in our lives when we need a little support. Even the most loving relationships can encounter bumpy roads, and thriving careers can at times lead to burnout. If you are here, you may be in that moment now - feeling stuck or overwhelmed in some way. I offer adults, teens and relationships of every kind a place to slow down, take a breath and work towards greater ease, fulfillment, and joy. “The wave does not need to die to become water. She is already water.” - Thich Nhat Hanh At the heart of my practice is a deep respect for you and the experiences that have shaped who you are, and my approach is to be guided by how you walk this world. I offer integrative, culturally-attuned, and trauma-informed therapy where we will work collaboratively to address your needs through exploring your whole self: mind, body, spirit. In our sessions we will of course talk, but will also integrate somatic and experiential modalities, to move towards fuller healing and growth. Whether you're seeking relief from stress and overwhelm, strengthening relationships, or striving for a balanced life, let's find the path to lasting well-being. I am Japanese with a multicultural TCK (third culture kid) upbringing, and am deeply aware of the impact difference has on our identity and well-being. I also bring many years of experience working globally in corporate and tech startup sectors, and understand the challenges of navigating work-life balance. I am passionate about working with multicultural, immigrant communities as well as cross-cultural, interracial relationships, to explore culture, race and identity. I look forward to meeting you! 日本語でのお問い合わせもお待ちしております。 - Education and Experience - Center for Mindful Psychotherapy Holden High School Oakland International High School Integral Counseling Center California Institute of Integral Studies, MA Integral Counseling Psychology Cornell University, BA Psychology and Concentration in East Asian Religions
