Whether you're trying to make sense of your own struggles or worried about someone you love, you don't have to figure it out alone. * * * * * Adults I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and a sense of feeling stuck or disconnected from the life they want. I have a particular interest in working with people who are highly sensitive, as well as those healing from difficult childhood experiences, trauma, or emotionally unhealthy and controlling relationships. My work focuses not only on managing symptoms but on understanding the experiences and patterns that contribute to them. Therapy can be a place to understand yourself more deeply, let go of ways of coping that no longer serve you, develop healthier relationships and boundaries, and make meaningful changes in how you want to live your life. * * * * * Children, Teens & Parents I’ve worked extensively with youth and families in both residential treatment and private practice, with significant experience supporting children, teens and families facing complex challenges including depression, suicidal thoughts, self-harm, substance use, behavioral concerns and family conflict. I help children and teens develop healthier ways of coping, improve decision making and take greater responsibility for their well-being. I also work with parents and families to better understand what their child is going through, improve communication, set appropriate boundaries and find practical ways to support change at home. * * * * * At the heart of my work is a deep faith in life and in the healing process. I believe every person has inherent worth, that symptoms are adaptations rather than defects, and that even our most painful experiences can become part of our growth. There is an intelligence within the healing process, and when we stop fighting every difficult part of ourselves, new possibilities can begin to emerge. * * * * * Areas I Commonly Help With: Individuals - Anxiety, depression, and feeling stuck - Recovering from painful childhood experiences, trauma, and grief - Healing from emotionally unhealthy, controlling, or abusive relationships - Highly sensitive adults and teens - Self-esteem, perfectionism, and people-pleasing - Substance use and recovery - Life transitions, identity, and personal growth Children, Teens & Parents - Anxiety, depression, and behavioral concerns - Navigating substance use and other high-risk behaviors - Improving family communication and connection - Strengthening family relationships during difficult transitions - Supporting parents of struggling children and teens - Parent coaching and guidance
