There may be a specific event bringing you in, or you may be feeling stirred toward deeper exploration of long established patterns. In one-on-one therapy, you have the opportunity to work through issues that are important to you and step toward a more centered, integrated self. You can expect me to bring my authentic self into sessions, providing an inclusive space for you to be fully seen and heard without judgment. I find that it is easier to heal and shift unhealthy patterns when in the presence of compassion. You can also expect a fair amount of laughter (when appropriate), because I wholeheartedly believe in its power to heal and connect us. My approach is relational, attachment-oriented, rooted in psychodynamic therapy and self compassion—with an understanding of how our brains and nervous systems respond to stress, connection, and healing. We will likely explore the past and its effect on the present through a trauma-informed lens, and collaborate to create new space for growth, clarity, and change.
